Pattern: Annual growth marked by dark rings. Rays are irregular, fine.
Characteristics: In line of the concentric layers, poors are fairly large and open with numerous, very small pores in the remainder of the layer.
Uses: Classic high-quality wood with a lovely figure, it is used in Furniture, Inlay, turnery, and bandings.
