Source: South America , Mexico and So. California.
Color: Salmon Pink background with Irregular grey-black, tan, brown veining. Can be yellowish green or a light golden brown.
Pattern: Often has pip centered burl eyes. Can have burl or swirl in places.
Characteristics: Hard, strong, heavy.
Uses: Cabinetwork, furniture, decorative veneer, fancy inlays.
