Color: Heartwood Salmon Red to orange-brown marked with dark to russet brown streaks. Wood has a golden luster. Pattern: Interlocked grain, coarse textured. Characteristics: Heavy, hard, tough, good bending characteristics; difficult to work. Uses: Furniture, cabinetwork, interiors, decorative veneer.
