Color:                          Brown with chestnut and chocolate tones, and light yellow markings that show as a striped figure on quartered surfaces.

Pattern:                       Conspicuous fine stripes of lighter brown

Characteristics:           Very dense; hard and heavy; often wavy line; coarse wood with texture to it.
